About the Role
Pharmacy Technician Address: Fort Worth, TX Job Description Prepare and package medications accurately and efficiently. Count, pour, weigh, and label medications. Fill and refill prescriptions according to doctors' orders. Process insurance claims and collect payment information. Provide excellent customer service to patients by answering questions and addressing concerns. Maintain organized records of all prescriptions filled and dispensed. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients. Critical Information The candidate must be able to work Monday to Friday from 10 AM to 7 PM CST, with occasional Saturdays from 8 AM to 5 PM CST. This is a hybrid role after training, requiring 2 days in the office and 3 days remote. The technician must attend on-site training for the first 2-3 months. Education/Licenses Needed High school diploma or equivalent. At least 2 years of pharmacy technician experience. Completion of a Pharmacy Technician training program approved by the State Board of Pharmacy. Current certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred. Must be registered with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy and hold a current PTCB or NHA CPhT license in good standing.
