About the role: Justteachers is seeking a dedicated English teacher to join a secondary school in Oldham on a part-time temporary contract, starting in the new academic year in September This diverse and ambitious secondary school promotes respect and inclusion and students here value the wide range of opportunities available. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging English Language and Literature lessons that inspire students and support progress across Key Stages 3 and 4. Assess, monitor, and track student achievement, providing effective feedback and targeted interventions to raise attainment. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment, maintaining high standards of behaviour and learning. Prepare students for GCSE examinations, developing their reading, writing, speaking and analytical skills. Pre-requisites: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Strong subject knowledge and knowledge of AQA exam board Proven recent experience teaching English in a secondary school setting. Strong classroom management skills and a track record of supporting pupil progress and achievement.
