About the Role
<p><span>We have a fantastic opportunity for a <strong>Land Consultant </strong>to join our growing Land & New Homes Team, this role plays a pivotal role within the team and reports directly to the Land Director.</span></p><p class="Default"><span>Beresfords are Essex’s leading independent estate agency and property group, who have been running for over 50 years. Alongside our well-known residential Sales and Lettings teams, we also have specialisms in Surveying, Financial Services, Commercial, Holiday Lets and Land & New Homes.</span></p><p class="Default"><span>Our Land & New Homes team has experienced significant growth with the market share of new homes in Essex, the role of Land Consultant will work closely with the new homes team. This is a varied role and one which will allow you to see the whole process from identifying the land to the construction and sale of new homes. The successful candidate has the potential to grow within the business as the department expands.</span></p><p class="Default"><span><strong>Duties (including but not limited to):</strong></span></p><p class="Default"><span>• Undertake land reviews to identify suitable opportunities. You will carry out research on identified target locations, including demographics and infrastructure. Keeping the database up to date with potential sites of interest.</span></p><p class="Default"><span>• Review planning register via LandInsight software</span></p><p class="Default"><span>• Using mapping tools to identify potential new sites</span></p><p class="Default"><span>• Arrange and attend viewings with prospective purchasers as well as inspecting sites and taking photographs</span></p><p class="Default"><span>• Arrange and attend meetings with landowners along with the Land Director</span></p><p class="Default"><span>• As part of the wider team, you will be required to attend networking events with developers and develop rapport with prospective clients.</span></p><p class="Default"><span><strong>Requirements</strong></span></p><p class="Default"><span><strong>Essential:</strong></span></p><p class="Default"><span>• Understanding of property market</span></p><p class="Default"><span>• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal</span></p><p class="Default"><span>• Knowledge of Microsoft Office software inc. Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel</span></p><p class="Default"><span>• Organisational and time keeping skills</span></p><p class="Default"><span>• Self motivated and pro active</span></p><p class="Default"><span>• Driving License</span></p><p class="Default"><span><strong>Desirable:</strong></span></p><p class="Default"><span>• Relevant experience in a previous role within Land would be advantageous but not essential.</span></p><p class="Default"><span><strong>Salary & Benefits</strong></span></p><p class="Default"><span><strong>Basic salary of £30,000pa.
