Apprentice - Electromechanical Fitter (Electromechanical)

Proseal UK is a leading manufacturer of tray sealing machinery. Proseal is part of JBT Marel, a global leader in food processing equipment. You will be part of our admin team that is responsible for various types of admin support across our business. During the apprenticeship you will be trained on several aspects of our organisation. Shift Pattern / Working Hours Monday to Thursday 8am to 4:30pm, Friday 8am to 3:15pm, with a 30-minutes unpaid lunch break each day and two paid 15-minutes per day. A total of 40-hours per week. Role Overview: As an apprentice you will be involved in a variety of tasks including; Assembly of automated machinery, mechanical and electrical Quality inspections to ensure equipment meets required standards Measurement and inspection techniques using a variety of measuring equipment Training in the use of Computer Aided Design (CAD) using proprietary software packages Attendance at college on a day release basis leading to recognised NVQ qualifications over a three-year period Carrying out such tasks and duties as directed by the Training Manager that will contribute to the requisite levels of performance and competence Continuous improvements in the processes and service we offer To undertake any other duties required by management to meet the needs of the business Keep up to date with new technologies or process procedures You must understand and carry out Health and Safety requirements You will ensure all college work, logbooks etc. are kept up to date, in accordance with the apprenticeship requirements and are regularly checked by the Supervisor Required Skills & Qualifications: GCSE English (Grade 4-9) essential GCSE Maths (Grade 4-9) essential Communication skills Attention to detail Problem solving skills Logical Team working Initiative Welcome to our temporary careers site.
