Title: CNC ProgrammerLocation: Philadelphia, PAHours: 6am-4:30pm, Monday- ThursdaySalary: $75K-$85K
The CNC Programmer will be part of a growing manufacturing industry, supporting the design and build of the work holdings. This role will ensure all parts meet strict quality standards while having the flexibility to have a three day weekend! Interested?
What a CNC Programmer will do: Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to create toolpaths and machining instructions
Accurately calculate dimensions and tolerances; perform layout and measurement of workpieces
Program and set-up both manual and CNC machines for prototype and production runs
Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and production staff to improve machining methods and results
Inspect completed parts using precision instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and CMMs to ensure adherence to specifications
Adjust tooling and machine settings as necessary to meet complex design requirements and tight tolerances
Document machining procedures, inspection results, and production metrics to support continuous improvement initiatives
What you need to be a CNC Programmer: Manufacturing experience in CNC programming, and exposure to both manual and CNC machining environments
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
Proficiency in G-code programming and CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidCAM, or similar)
Strong understanding of machining principles, cutting tools, feeds/speeds
