Job Description:

Exact Staff is hiring for a motivated, bilingual (English/Spanish) On-Site Staffing Coordinator to support our client at a fast-paced food manufacturing warehouse in Arvin. The On-Site Staffing Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact between the client, temporary associates, and the staffing office. This position is responsible for daily workforce coordination, employee engagement, attendance management, training support, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Location: Arvin, CA
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Full-Time | Open Availability Required | Weekend Availability Required

Essential Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed client staffing needs while maintaining excellent customer service.
  • Coordinate daily staffing requirements with the recruiting office to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Welcome, check in, and assist associates at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Monitor daily attendance, tardiness, and call-offs,
  • Communicate staffing updates to client management and staffing office.
  • Assign associates to appropriate departments based on production needs.
  • Assist with new hire orientations and onboarding.
  • Train associates on workplace expectations, safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Ensure employees are using the timekeeping system correctly.
  • Conduct regular floor walks to monitor productivity, attendance, PPE compliance, and safety.
  • Coach and mentor associates to improve performance and address workplace concerns.
  • Submit accident and incident reports promptly and follow safety protocols.
  • Partner with client leadership to achieve production goals and maintain a positive working relationship.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and daily reports using Microsoft Excel and other computer systems.
  • Support recruitment efforts and participate in hiring events as needed.

 

Qualifications

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (Required)
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of warehouse leadership, or workforce coordination experience preferred.
  • Warehouse and/or food manufacturing experience or knowledge required.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Must be dependable, flexible, and able to adapt to changing business needs.

Schedule Requirements

  • Open availability is required.
  • Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts based on client needs.

 
Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Frequently walk throughout warehouse and production areas.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse and food manufacturing environment, including varying temperatures.
