Working as a CCTV Engineer you will be working for a well-established business that provides security and technology solutions and services across the UK. Offering both small and large scale turnkey solutions to a wide range of clients ranging from organisations such as the Police services, central & local government. Though the head office is based in Kent you will not be expected to report back to base on a daily basis. There is an element of flexibility and you will be responsible for planning your own work load weekly. Responsibilities: Installing and servicing highways CCTV cameras within motorway roadworks in all weathers Travelling throughout the UK and overnight stays maybe required for long distance call outs Liaising with Construction Site Management, Traffic Management, Traffic Safety and Control Officer and CCTV Operators in response to requests for service To apply you will ideally have the following experience and certificates: Qualifications and experience: IP CCTV/ network equipment commissioning, and fault-finding ability is essential Experience with IP Wireless Transmission of CCTV images and Data Experience and understanding of analogue CCTV systems, fault diagnosis and repair using multi meter, fibre splicing repairs Valid CSCS card holder 17th/18th edition wiring regulations qualified Ability to work without supervision Benefits: Up to £35K dependant on experience 25 days holiday Pension Mobile Phone Company vehicle Ongoing training
