We are recruiting Support Workers to join a friendly learning disabilities service providing support within a respite setting and community outreach across St Austell and the surrounding areas.

This role is ideal for caring, reliable people who enjoy building positive relationships and supporting individuals to live independently. Experience is welcomed but full training is provided for the right person.

Visa sponsorship is not available for this role - you must have the right to work in the UK to apply.

• £14.11 per hour (days)
• Weekend daytime shifts
• Part-time contract (16+ hours)
• Paid induction, shadowing and training
• Combination of respite centre and community outreach work
• Ongoing development opportunities
• Supportive management team
• Stable long-term opportunity

• Providing 1:1 support to adults with learning disabilities
• Supporting individuals within a respite service and the community
• Assisting with personal care and daily living tasks
• Supporting community access and independence
• Following person-centred support plans
• Maintaining accurate records
• Working collaboratively within a dedicated team
• Promoting dignity, choice and independence

• Caring, patient and dependable approach
• Comfortable working within respite and community settings
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Driver with own vehicle and business insurance desirable, but non-drivers will be considered
• Experience within care welcomed but not essential
• Willingness to learn and develop
• Right to work in the UK
