About the Role

As Director of Solutions Architecture, you’ll lead a team of customer-facing technical experts who partner closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering to drive customer success and business growth. You’ll be responsible for people leadership, process maturity, and technical excellence, while still staying close to the field. In this role you will: Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of Solutions Architects, guiding their professional development, fostering a high-performance culture, and ensuring alignment with Augment' strategic goals. Business Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to drive business growth, expand the customer base, and increase revenue. Customer Engagement: Lead efforts to engage with new customers and partners through effective solution consulting, collaborating closely with sales and marketing teams. Revenue Growth: Drive initiatives to increase revenue and achieve business objectives through effective solution consulting. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Customer Success, Product and Engineering, to align business strategies and ensure successful execution. Market Expansion: Identify and evaluate opportunities to enter new markets and expand Augment’s presence. You have: 10+ years of experience in leadership roles, including 4+ years in a technical pre-sales capacity, with a strong track record of driving growth and achieving business objectives. Professional experience with modern scripting languages (e.g., Python, Node.js, SQL) and/or widely used programming languages (e.g., C/C++, Java, C#). AI experience is preferred, but not required. Demonstrated success in developing and executing business strategies that result in increased revenue and market expansion. A Bachelorʼs degree or equivalent work experience. A proactive mindset, adaptability, and comfort in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment Exceptional communication, organizational, and project management abilities. Proven ability to lead, inspire, and scale teams, driving results while fostering a collaborative, high-accountability culture. Willingness to travel, as needed.
