<p><strong>Master Technician </strong><br /> <strong>Location:</strong> Leyton, East London<br /> <strong>Pay:</strong> £1,050 per week + Overtime <br /> <strong>Job Type:</strong> Full-Time<br /> <br /><strong>The Role of the Master Technician </strong><br />We are seeking an experienced <strong>Master Technician (PSV)</strong> to join a busy bus engineering operation in Leyton.<br />This is a senior technical role focused on advanced diagnostics, complex fault finding, and supporting workshop teams to maintain high standards of safety, reliability, and compliance.<br /> <br /><strong>Key Responsibilities of the Master Technician </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Carry out advanced diagnostics and complex fault finding on PSV vehicles</li>
<li>Support technicians with electrical, mechanical, and electronic repairs</li>
<li>Work on modern bus systems including CAN networks, ECUs, and multiplex wiring</li>
<li>Ensure all work is completed to <strong>DVSA and Transport for London (TfL)</strong> standards</li>
<li>Lead by example in quality, safety, and productivity standards</li>
<li>Assist with inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance</li>
<li>Provide technical guidance and mentoring to workshop staff</li>
</ul>
<p> <br /><strong>What We’re Looking For from the Master Technician</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Proven experience as a <strong>Master Technician / Senior PSV Technician / Diagnostic Technician</strong></li>
<li>Strong background in <strong>electrical diagnostics and fault finding</strong> (essential)</li>
<li>Experience working on buses or coaches (PSV preferred)</li>
<li>Excellent understanding of modern vehicle systems and electronics</li>
<li>Ability to support and guide less experienced technicians</li>
<li>NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or similar)</li>
