<strong></strong> <p><strong>DevOps Engineer&nbsp;</strong><br /> <br /> Guildford offices (Next to train station) and competitive salary depending on experience<br /> <br /> Stratospherec are working with a Guildford based Enterprise Management software company who have thousands of clients across the UK and Europe.<br /> &nbsp;&nbsp;<br /> This Mid-Level DevOps Engineer role is a new position in their growing DevOps team of engineers and this role is integral to the continued success of the TechOps team as a central function that underpins the effective development and running of the &lsquo;software as a service&rsquo; that this company supplies to their customers.&nbsp;<br /> &nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>We are looking for candidates with 2 years or more commercial DevOps Engineering experience ideally in an &nbsp;Linux, MySQl, Java (or GO / Node / Ruby / Python) software application environment and with Python, Java, GO or Bash Scripting experience.<br /> <br /> DevOps Engineer - Role Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>CI/CD Pipeline Management</li> <li>Automation: writing automation scripts</li> <li>Infrastructure as Code (IaC):&nbsp;Provisioning infrastructure using tools like Ansible.</li> <li>System Reliability &amp; Monitoring</li> <li>Security &amp; Compliance: Integrating security (DevSecOps) into the DevOps lifecycle.</li> <li>Deploying and managing applications.</li> <li>Operations &amp; Monitoring: Monitor system performance, uptime, and security.</li> </ul> <p>You will need at least 2 years commercial experience in a pervious role.</p> <p>Skills Required:</p> <ul> <li>Scripting skills - Ideally Python, Bash, GO or similar</li> <li>Monitoring with tools like Grafana preferred, DataDog or&nbsp;Prometheus</li> <li>Database&nbsp; knowledge - MariaDB or MySQL or PostGreSQL</li> <li>Linux knowledge - Ubuntu, Debian or Centos</li> <li>Experience working within an agile environment</li> <li>Knowledge of version control tools - GIT ideally</li> <li>Provisioning servers and knowledge of containerisation with Kubernetes or similar</li> </ul> <p>Package offered:</p> <ul> <li>Base Salary: Competitive salary.</li> <li>Based in their hi-tech Guildford offices.</li> <li>28 days Annual Leave (plus Bank Holidays)</li> <li>40 hours/week including 1 hour for lunch (all in office)</li> <li>Pension scheme</li> <li>Excellent employee benefits scheme</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /> If this is job opportunity might be of interest then please apply for immediate interview.</p>
