Symposit, an 8(a)-certified national security, IT, and AI logistics solutions firm, today announced it has earned Joint Certification Program (JCP) Status, essential to accessing non-public, unclassified Department of War data for research, manufacturing, and defense contracts. JCP status is an organizational vendor certification standard maintained by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).
Bobby Bermudez, President of Symposit, said, “Escalating threats to the defense supply chain make rigorous cybersecurity protocols a necessity. We are proud to continue elevating Symposit’s security certifications and join fellow defense contractors within the Joint Certification Program to maintain cyber organizational vigilance of the DLA global data network.”
The JCP is a five year award. Its certification allows contractors to bid on defense contract solicitations through the Defense Logistics Agency and addresses the vendor requirements for access to controlled technical data.
