PASTRY CHEF

Position: Pastry Chef
Base Location: COMO Uma Paro, Bhutan
Department: Kitchen
Reports into: Executive Chef
Tasks/Responsibilities:
To control the preparation and service of all food from the kitchen or outlet, ensuring that it meets the agreed standards at all times
To coordinate the production of all products ensuring specifications, quality targets, and delivery timetables are met
To prepare suggestions for new menus in conjunction with the Executive Chef
To ensure all staff are trained to the required standards and are aware of the specifications for all new dishes
To develop local talents under the pastry team as part of their development plans.
Key Requirements:
5 years of experience or more in the operations field as a pastry chef for a 5* Hotel.
Understands and reads English efficiently.
Good Leadership skills.
