Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities.
- Work closely with teachers, therapists, and parents to create a supportive learning environment.
- Support students in both one-to-one and small group settings, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Foster an inclusive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes students' confidence and independence.
- Help with classroom activities, behaviour management, and personal care where necessary.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with special needs (preferred but not essential).
- A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to working with children.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, SEN training) are desirable.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
