This support role focuses on adult CVICU and step-down care, performing key procedures with recent cardiothoracic experience. The schedule includes day shifts with on-call nights, supporting approximately 4 days per month.

This opportunity places providers within a hospital environment equipped with a dedicated cardiothoracic surgery department, utilizing Cerner EMR, and supporting a broad surgical case load. For PAs with recent cardiothoracic surgery background, proficiency with EVH, and current ACLS/BLS certification, this locum role offers a structured schedule and stable clinical environment.

Requirements

• Arizona license (active, unrestricted)
• DEA registration
• Certified or certification eligible by NCCPA
• Minimum 3 years recent cardiothoracic surgery experience with EVH
• Graduate from approved university program or hold Master's in Nursing
• Completion of RN/NP First Assistant Program or Acute Care NP program
• Current Arizona APRN license
• Medical Surgical or NP certification via ANCC/AANP
• ACLS and BLS certifications from American Heart Association
