In this role, you will work closely with vulnerable children and their families, providing essential support and intervention to promote their welfare and safeguard their well-being.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Assessing the needs of children and families, developing care plans that promote positive outcomes.
Conducting home visits and engaging with children, parents, and other professionals to gather information and provide support.
Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely interventions and follow-ups.
Writing comprehensive reports and maintaining accurate case records in compliance with local authority policies.
Collaborating with multi-agency teams to ensure a holistic approach to safeguarding and welfare.
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
Registered with Social Work England.
Experience working with children and families in a social work context.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle a varied caseload.
