About the Role
<strong>Admissions Administrator (Temporary Contract)</strong><br><strong>Location: </strong>Milton Keynes (Hybrid Working)<br><strong>Pay Rate: </strong>£13.45 per hour<br><strong>Contract Duration:</strong> 29th June 2026 - 7th August 2026<br><strong>Full-time: </strong>37 hours per week (Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, 30 minute lunch).<br><br>We are currently recruiting for a temporary Admissions Administrator to join a busy and supportive team during a peak admissions period. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with high volumes of data and applications.<br><br><strong>The Role</strong><br>You will play a key role in supporting the onboarding of students onto professional programmes, ensuring applications are processed accurately and efficiently.<br><br><strong>Key responsibilities include:</strong><ul><li>Reviewing applications against entry criteria, including English and Maths requirements </li><ul><li>Inputting information from application forms onto internal systems</li><li>Preparing and issuing conditional offer letters</li><li>Downloading and uploading applicant reports using internal systems</li><li>Scheduling interviews through Microsoft Bookings</li><li>Sending communications to applicants using approved templates</li><li>Monitoring shared mailboxes and responding to routine enquiries</li><li>Escalating complex queries where appropriate</li><li>Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all data is up to date</li><li>Supporting high-volume administrative processes during a busy admissions period</li><li>Other adhoc requirements to support the team</li></ul></ul><strong>About You</strong><br>We are looking for someone who can quickly learn new processes and systems while maintaining a high level of accuracy.<br><br><strong>You will have:</strong><ul><li>Previous administration and data entry experience</li><ul><li>Excellent attention to detail</li><li>Strong organisational skills</li><li>Confidence using Microsoft Excel and Outlook</li><li>The ability to manage a high workload and prioritise tasks effectively</li><li>A proactive and self-motivated approach</li><li>Experience working in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Strong written communication skills</li><li>Comfortable working on repetitive tasks.</li></ul></ul><br><strong>Working Arrangements</strong><br>Training Week<ul><li>Collection of equipment and induction on the first day Monday 29th June</li><ul><li>Mandatory training provided</li><li>On-site attendance required on Monday 29th and Tuesday 30th (Potential to work from home for the remainder of the week, subject to training requirements)</li><li>Every other week will require an onsite presence on a Tuesdays.</li><li>Additional on-site attendance throughout the assignment may be required for further training and support</li></ul></ul>What You will Receive<ul><li>Hybrid working arrangement</li><ul><li>Comprehensive training and onboarding</li><li>Ongoing support from dedicated coordinators and experienced team members</li><li>A welcoming and supportive team environment</li><li>Opportunity to develop administration and admissions experience within a professional organisation</li></ul></ul>If you are highly organised, detail-focused and enjoy working in a busy environment where accuracy matters, we would love to hear from you.
