Race and culture network
Diversity is our strength, and we’re proud to share that our colleagues come from all walks of life. Our Inclusion and Diversity network celebrates everyone – from participating in book clubs about race and cultural diversity, to sharing stories that tackle unconscious bias, we do it together.

Women @ Aegon
The Women @ Aegon network creates opportunities for greater gender equality and recognition in the workplace, while promoting career progression at every level.
As strong supporters of the Women in Finance Charter, we’re committed to improving our gender diversity in senior management. We’re aiming for a 50/50 balance by 2030, and expect to reach an interim target of 43% by the end of 2025.1
The network’s Let’s Talk events cover everything from the gender pensions gap, to sharing advice and personal stories from senior colleagues.
We’re determined that women at Aegon should be seen, heard and inspired.
Aegon Proud
We celebrate and support our LGBTQIA+ colleagues, giving them a voice and visibility in the workplace. We currently hold the Ambassador Award, rewarded by the organisation Workplace Pride to companies that score over 70% on their annual LGBTQIA+ Inclusion benchmark. We have a strong and active network run by Aegon employees and have been accredited for six consecutive years with a simple goal: to build a workplace where people feel comfortable, accepted and, above all, can be themselves.
