Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Land Surveyor to join our surveying team in Cornet Chahwan, Lebanon. In this role, you will support senior surveyors in conducting field surveys, collecting precise measurements, and documenting geographic data. You will work with advanced surveying equipment and software to ensure accuracy and efficiency on various projects. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your technical skills in a professional environment while contributing to meaningful infrastructure and development projects.

  • Conduct field surveys using surveying instruments including theodolites, GPS receivers, and total stations
  • Collect, record, and organize survey data with meticulous attention to detail
  • Assist senior surveyors in planning and executing survey projects
  • Prepare survey sketches, notes, and preliminary reports based on field observations
  • Operate and maintain surveying equipment to ensure proper functionality and accuracy
  • Input survey data into surveying software and CAD programs for analysis and mapping
  • Read, interpret, and verify maps, blueprints, and technical drawings
  • Ensure all survey work complies with industry standards and local regulations
  • Collaborate with project teams, engineers, and clients to meet project objectives
  • Perform quality checks on collected data to verify accuracy and completeness

Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency with surveying instruments and equipment (theodolite, GPS, total station)
  • Ability to read, interpret, and create technical drawings and maps
  • Physical fitness and capability to perform fieldwork in various weather conditions
  • Strong data collection, documentation, and record-keeping skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Familiarity with GIS (Geographic Information Systems) software (preferred)
  • Experience with AutoCAD or similar design software (preferred)
  • Driving license is a must
