PHARMACY TECHNICIAN (NON-RETAIL) | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
Location: Franklin TN 37067 – 100% On-site
Payrate: $24.45/hr
Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday – Friday, 1030a-7p
Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend, Sunday, 8a – 5p.
Option for Monday – Saturday schedule, no Sunday requirement
PHARMACY TECHNICIAN (NON-RETAIL) | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Pharmacy Technician (Non-Retail) will work under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to fill prescriptions, prepare IVs, and ensure the accurate delivery of medications. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed professional looking to grow within a dynamic healthcare environment.
This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

PHARMACY TECHNICIAN (NON-RETAIL) | RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prescription Fulfillment: Fill prescriptions and prepare IVs according to safety standards and government regulations.
Data Entry & Billing: Collaborate with the Billing Supervisor to enter prescription data into the computer system and assist in obtaining reimbursement payments.
Dispensing Support: Prepackage medications and assist the Pharmacist in the final checking process, including staging and packaging for delivery.
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory practices by receiving and rotating incoming medications, tracking lot numbers, and monitoring expiration dates.
Safety & Maintenance: Help maintain a clean and safe work environment, including checking equipment for calibration and cleanliness.
PHARMACY TECHNICIAN (NON-RETAIL) | REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
Licensure: MUST hold a current Pharmacy Technician License in the state of Tennessee.
Previous pharmacy experience
Strong attention to detail, basic computer proficiency, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
