Our client is a web platform that helps freelancers find remote jobs more effectively with AI.
We are looking for a
Manual QA Engineer
to help test and improve
Auto Apply feature
- a product feature that automatically fills and submits job applications on ATS and job boards on behalf of users.
You will focus on testing real user flows, ATS forms, auto-fill accuracy, application statuses, edge cases, failures, and overall product quality.
What You’ll Do:
- Manually test Auto Apply flows across different ATS and job boards.
- Validate that application forms are filled correctly with user profile and CV data.
- Check multi-step flows: signup, login, email verification, form filling, file upload, and application submission.
- Test edge cases: missing required fields, invalid data, CAPTCHA, blocked pages, expired jobs, broken forms, duplicate applications.
- Verify statuses and reports: queued, in progress, applied, failed, action required.
- Reproduce bugs, write clear bug reports.
- Work closely with developers, manual QA and SDET.
- Help build and maintain regression checklists and test cases.
- Validate UX logic for Auto Apply.
- Support release testing and quality checks before production deployments.
You Must Have:

3+ years of manual QA experience in web products.
- Strong experience testing complex web applications.
- Good understanding of frontend/backend interaction, APIs, browser behavior, cookies, sessions, redirects.
- Experience with Jira / Linear, test cases, bug reports, and regression testing.
- Ability to test messy real-world flows, not only happy paths.
- Strong attention to detail and product thinking.
- Experience with Chrome DevTools.
- Basic understanding of API testing with Postman or similar tools.
Nice to Have:
- Experience testing AI, automation, scraping, browser automation, or data-heavy products.
- Understanding of QA automation basics, even if the role is primarily manual.
- Experience with logs, Sentry, Grafana, or similar tools.
- Basic SQL knowledge.
