About the Role

A large, well-known healthcare system in Texas is seeking a compassionate and patient-focused outpatient neurologist to join their team in College Station, Texas.

This position is fully outpatient, with no hospital duties. While general neurology will remain a component of someone's practice, those with clinical interests in neuromuscular/EMG, movement disorders, MS and neuroimmunology, or cognitive neurology would be able to quickly develop a focus, up to 80% of their practice. The team is excited to speak with outpatient neurologists of all interests though - for them, the priority is finding a great teammate who wants to provide excellent care for patients.

Position Highlights:

- Expanding neurosurgery services; excited to collaborate with neurology

- Only call is patient call, non burdensome and taken from home. Shared equally.

- Hospital is covered by BSW tele neurology; no hospital duties required for this position

- Potential opportunities for teaching neurology residents and medical students, if interested but certainly not a requirement

- Dedicated neurology nurse and CMAs

- Half day of administrative time each week

- Flexibility in scheduling appointments

- Volume for EEG and EMG
