<p><strong>Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) – 12-Month Maternity Cover</strong></p> <p>We’re seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join a supportive and award-winning small-animal team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nurse who is passionate about delivering gold-standard care and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment.</p> <p>As an RVN, you will work within a well-structured nursing team, fully utilising your skills across a wide range of clinical responsibilities. You’ll be supported by senior nursing staff and encouraged to develop your abilities while contributing to high standards of patient care.</p> <p><em><br />Key Responsibilities:</em></p> <ul> <li>Nurse consults and nurse-led operating days</li> <li>Patient care and inpatient monitoring</li> <li>Dentistry and imaging (including access to advanced diagnostic equipment)</li> <li>Working collaboratively with the wider clinical team</li> <li>Participating in the Out-of-Hours rota when required</li> <li>Maintaining excellent standards in line with best practice and clinical protocols</li> </ul> <p><em><br />What We’re Looking For:</em></p> <ul> <li>Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with RCVS registration</li> <li>Minimum 2 years’ veterinary nursing experience</li> <li>Strong communication and teamwork skills</li> <li>A proactive attitude and desire to progress clinically</li> <li>Flexibility to support team and service needs</li> <li>Commitment to providing exceptional patient and client care</li> </ul> <p><em><br />Hours &amp; Flexibility:</em></p> <p>Standard working pattern is 40 hours across 4 days per week, with shared weekend duties.
