Class 1 Night Driver – Accrington (18:00 Starts)

We’re looking for a reliable and professional Class 1 Night Driver to join our growing logistics team in Accrington. This role is ideal for drivers who enjoy steady night work, trailer swaps, and regional trunking runs between distribution hubs. You’ll be responsible for moving trailers safely, completing routine checks, and ensuring all scanning and documentation are handled accurately before returning to base. Key Responsibilities Safely drive and operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles during night shifts. Transport trailers between local and regional distribution hubs. Open curtains for inspection and scanning as required. Operate handheld scanning equipment and record movements accurately. Complete trailer swaps efficiently and safely. Maintain accurate driving logs and paperwork. Follow all company policies, DVSA regulations, and road safety laws. About You Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence. Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card. Previous experience with trunking or night work preferred. Reliable, professional, and confident working independently. Good communication and organisational skills. Safety-focused with excellent attention to detail.
