About the Role
Performs a wide variety of laboratory procedures using both manual and automated methods. Is expected to show a considerable degree of independent judgement regarding the performance and reporting of results. Actively participates in the quality improvement activities of the laboratory.<br/><br/>Education<br/>Associate's Degree Medical Laboratory Technology, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, or Life Sciences with 26 science credits with appropriate experience in a CLIA laboratory, or Military Training Program (An official U.S. Military medical laboratory procedures training course and that the applicant has held the military enlisted occupational specialty of Medical Laboratory Specialist - Laboratory Technician.) Required<br/>Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree that satisfy regulatory agency requirement Required<br/><br/>Experience<br/>1 year experience in relevant laboratory section Preferred<br/><br/>Licenses<br/>Amer Soc Clinical Pathology Preferred
