<p>We are in need of a seasoned <strong>Manager of Construction Operations</strong> to supervise heavy civil construction activities in the San Diego area. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide oversight for multiple projects, ensuring that work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.</p>

<h2><strong>Primary Duties</strong></h2>
<ul>

<p>Lead and supervise division superintendents and field crews</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Ensure projects are completed <strong>punctually and within budget</strong></p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Review and authorize construction methods, sequencing, and execution plans</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Coordinate workforce, equipment, subcontractors, and vendors</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Collaborate with Project Managers during preconstruction planning and execution</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Maintain comprehensive understanding of project scope, plans, and specifications</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Supervise foremen and field operations on multiple projects</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Manage and update project schedules and sequencing</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Lead coordination with owners, including regular meetings</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Oversee subcontractor scope alignment, inclusions, and exclusions</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Enforce <strong>job site safety regulations</strong> and foster union relationships</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Monitor project costs, productivity, and budget performance</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Manage timekeeping, extra work tracking, and cost efficiency</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Ensure project closeout, completion of punch list, and turnover</p>
</li>
</ul>

<h2><strong>Requirements</strong></h2>
<ul>

<p>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)</p>
</li>
<li>
<p><strong>Over 10 years of experience in heavy civil construction</strong></p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Solid background in <strong>field operations and construction execution</strong></p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Experience overseeing multiple superintendents and large-scale projects</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Thorough knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and scheduling</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Experience working in <strong>unionized environments</strong></p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Effective leadership, communication, and organizational abilities</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Capacity to handle high-pressure situations and meet deadlines</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Desirable experience in landscape construction</p>
