You will lead the partnership with both our CPP Procurement team and our strategic accounts (Retail Alliance) team. The successful candidate will have strong financial skills including the ability to analyze and interpret data and present results to business partners including Procurement, Retail Alliances and Marketing, in a meaningful format to assist in decision-making.<br><br>This position is located at our Arden Hills, MN Corporate Headquarters (in office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week).<br><br>Scope:<br>Drive the end-to-end financial performance of a $2.5 billion vended portfolio, leading all budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to optimize P&L results<br><br>Lead the financial analysis and partnership with the Procurement team, including supporting vendor rebate negotiations, purchase decisions and Financing programs<br><br>Partner with the Retail Alliances team to drive the financial strategy and performance of our key strategic accounts<br><br>Manage and coach two senior-level financial analysts within the department<br><br>Direct a cross-functional partnership across Procurement and Corporate Treasury to architect a Net Financing program that delivers value to the cooperative system. You will optimize the balance between Customer and Vendor Financing while aligning decisions with Land O’Lakes’ balance sheet requirements and prevailing interest rate environments.<br><br>Own the Patronage/Dividend program for Winfield United. Consolidate all models and analysis for future-state program. <br><br><br>Experience—Education:<br>Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline<br><br>A minimum of 8 years of progressive finance and/or accounting experience<br><br>CPA, CMA, MBA, or certification desired<br><br>Prior experience leading multiple direct reports highly desired<br><br><br>Preferred Experience<br>Experience in budgeting and forecasting<br><br>Expertise in synthesizing enterprise financial data into visual narratives for executive level reporting and communications<br><br>Understanding of the interconnectivity between the income statement, balance sheet and statement of cash flows<br><br><br>Competencies—Skills:<br>Process orientation, including ability to question, streamline, and improve existing processes<br><br>Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to perform well in a dynamic environment<br><br>Demonstrate a strong service ethic and able to partner with senior leaders across the organization<br><br>Drive individual and team accountability through structured development and career pathing<br><br>Intellectual curiosity; strive to challenge for continuous learning<br><br>Analytical and quantitative with strong financial analysis skills<br><br>Able to work with and gain insights from various sources of data across the company<br><br><br>$107,680-$161,520.
