Teaching Assistant / Behaviour Support - Stoke Location: Stoke-on-Trent & Surrounding Areas Pay: £90–£115 per day (depending on experience) Start Date: September Contract: Flexible Day-to-Day Supply Flexible Opportunities in Mainstream & Specialist Schools Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants and Behaviour Support Staff to work on a flexible supply basis across a variety of primary, secondary, SEN and SEMH schools throughout Stoke-on-Trent and the surrounding areas. Your Responsibilities Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils Assist teachers with classroom activities and learning interventions Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning Support pupils with SEN, SEMH and additional learning needs Help create a safe, inclusive and supportive classroom environment Adapt quickly to different schools, classrooms and age groups We're Looking For We welcome applications from candidates with experience in: Teaching Assistant or Learning Support roles Behaviour Mentoring SEN or SEMH Support Youth Work Residential or Care Work Sports Coaching Tutoring Customer Service or other roles involving strong communication and people skills You should also have: A positive, proactive and adaptable approach Confidence working with children and young people Strong communication and relationship-building skills A calm and patient approach to behaviour management An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one Why Work with Teaching Personnel?
