Financial Accountant - VR/32329

Fixed-term 6-8 month contract | Immediate start preferred

TMM is delighted to be partnering with an energy business who is currently seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to support a busy finance function during a key reporting period. This contract role will focus on statutory accounting and group reporting across multiple legal entities.      

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the preparation and drafting of statutory accounts for various legal entities across the Group.
• Assisting with wider statutory accounting and financial reporting requirements.
• Liaising with internal stakeholders and external auditors where required.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and reporting deadlines.
• Supporting ad hoc finance and reporting projects as needed.

About You

• Qualified Accountant (ICAS / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent).
• Strong technical accounting and statutory accounts preparation experience.
• Experience working within complex group structures and multiple entities
• Oil & gas sector experience, ideally E&P preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Confident communicator with a collaborative approach.
