The Role

An established and growing manufacturing business is seeking a Sales Coordinator to support one of it’s divisions. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy, customer-focused sales office in a full-time, permanent position.

Key responsibilities include:

• Acting as the first point of contact for customers, processing orders and handling enquiries

• Liaising with customers, manufacturing plants and warehouses to ensure timely product delivery

• Maintaining high standards of customer care

• Providing administrative support to the sales team

• Working closely with Credit Control to ensure customer accounts remain up to date

• Building and developing relationships with new and existing customers by telephone

• Processing customer claims

• Supporting the wider sales strategy

• General sales administration duties

The Candidate

The successful candidate for this Sales Coordinator role will possess:

• A good standard of education and be fully IT literate
• Strong communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
• You will be organised, self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team within a fast-paced sales environment
• Confidence in supporting customers and an external sales team is essential, along with the ability to build rapport quickly and effectively.
• Experience within the construction or manufacturing sector would be advantageous, however full training will be provided.
• Attitude, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are valued more highly than specific qualifications.
