Property Surveyor - Westminster

Roles & Responsibilities - Property Surveyor Conduct property inspections and condition surveys on residential and/or commercial properties. Assess building defects, structural issues, and maintenance requirements. Prepare detailed survey reports, including recommendations for repairs, refurbishments, and improvements. Advise clients on property condition, compliance, and potential risks. Ensure properties meet relevant health & safety standards and housing regulations. Liaise with contractors, landlords, tenants, and managing agents regarding works required. Specify repair works and prepare schedules of work and cost estimates. Monitor and inspect works in progress and upon completion to ensure quality and compliance. Manage disrepair, damp and mould, and insurance-related inspections and reports. Support planned maintenance and asset management programmes. Investigate complaints relating to property condition and provide technical advice. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including HHSRS, building regulations, and fire safety standards. Maintain accurate records, reports, and photographic evidence. Contribute to budget planning and cost control for repair and maintenance works. Work collaboratively with internal teams to improve property standards and customer satisfaction.
