Work Location: On-Site Only (Not remote or hybrid) Job Type: Direct Hire Industry: Manufacturing Company Size: 200-700 million in annual revenue Keys to Job: 1-2 years shipping/receiving experience; forklift/crane certification eligibility; precision measurement skills; strong attention to detail and organizational abilities; ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. High-school diploma or equivalent. Position Overview This logistics role verifies outgoing shipments, prepares products for safe delivery, and handles receiving activities while maintaining accurate records and supporting quality/customer requirements in a fast-paced second-shift environment. Core Responsibilities · Comparing shipment details against bills of lading, invoices, and orders; determining shipping methods and preparing documentation. · Assembling crates, inserting products, labeling, and banding containers while inspecting for damage or discrepancies. · Processing pack slips, bills of lading, export paperwork, and expedited orders while conferring with sales and quality on issues. · Receiving incoming materials and raw stock per quality standards and delivering goods to appropriate departments. · Operating forklifts or hand trucks to move shipments and maintaining inventory of shipping supplies. · Sustaining 5S standards and upholding safety and quality policies in all daily tasks. Position Requirements High-school diploma or GED; 1-2 years shipping/receiving experience preferred. Experience with measurement devices required; forklift and overhead crane certification (training provided). Knowledge of export paperwork, UPS systems, and SDS/Hazcom regulations a plus. Physical Demands and Work Environment Regular standing, heavy lifting, and exposure to outside weather and moderate noise. Reasonable accommodations available.
