Job Title: Material Planning Intern Pay Grade: AcqSal Job Description: Primary Purpose of Role The Material Planner Intern will assist the supply chain team in supporting material planning, purchasing, inventory control, and production scheduling activities. This role helps ensure materials are available to meet production needs while maintaining optimal inventory levels. The intern will gain hands-on experience with supply chain processes, ERP systems, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. Key Responsibilities Analyze inventory usage and models for stocking levels Review lead times from supply base and update SAP Develop material shipping strategies based on EAU Competencies and Behaviors Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word Hands on mechanical aptitude required Warehouse experience preferred Experience with hydraulic equipment preferred Qualifications and Experience Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, Industrial Management, Engineering or other related fields preferred. Prior internship, co‑op, or hands‑on project experience (academic or extracurricular) is a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
