It provides a full suite of compliance and advisory services, combining strong technical expertise with a modern, commercially focused approach.</div> <div>With continued investment in people, systems and service lines, the firm offers a collaborative working environment where senior professionals are encouraged to take ownership, influence direction and deliver high‑quality outcomes for clients.</div> <hr /> <div><strong>The Role</strong></div> <div>As a result of continued growth, the firm is seeking a Director‑level Corporate Tax professional to take on a senior leadership role within its business tax function.</div> <div>The Director will play a key role in leading complex corporate tax work, advising clients on strategic matters, and contributing to the ongoing development of the firm&#8217;s tax offering. The position offers a blend of technical delivery, people leadership and commercial input, with clear scope to influence both client outcomes and internal strategy.</div> <div>This opportunity would suit an experienced Associate Director or Director seeking greater autonomy, profile and long‑term progression.</div> <hr /> <div><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></div> <div><strong>Corporate Tax Leadership</strong></div> <ul> <li>Leading and overseeing complex corporate and business tax engagements</li> <li>Reviewing and approving corporate tax computations and returns</li> <li>Ensuring high technical standards and compliance with legislation and HMRC guidance</li> </ul> <div><strong>Advisory &amp; Technical Input</strong></div> <ul> <li>Providing strategic tax advice on areas including restructurings, transactions, group planning and business growth</li> <li>Acting as a trusted adviser to business owners, finance directors and senior stakeholders</li> <li>Identifying tax risks and opportunities and delivering commercially focused solutions</li> </ul> <div><strong>Business Development &amp; Growth</strong></div> <ul> <li>Supporting the development of new client relationships and service opportunities</li> <li>Contributing to proposals, pitches and client meetings</li> <li>Building and maintaining strong professional networks</li> </ul> <div><strong>People Leadership</strong></div> <ul> <li>Leading, mentoring and developing members of the corporate tax team</li> <li>Supporting training, performance management and career progression</li> <li>Promoting a collaborative, high‑performing team culture</li> </ul> <div><strong>Client Relationship Management</strong></div> <ul> <li>Managing a portfolio of key clients</li> <li>Ensuring consistently high levels of service and client satisfaction</li> <li>Identifying opportunities for additional advisory and cross‑service work</li> </ul> <hr /> <div><strong>Skills, Experience &amp; Qualifications</strong></div> <ul> <li>CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)</li> <li>Significant post‑qualification experience in Corporate or Business Tax within an accountancy practice</li> <li>Proven experience leading complex tax engagements and advising at senior client level</li> <li>Strong commercial awareness and client‑facing capability</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and develop teams</li> <li>Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence effectively</li> <li>Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously</li> </ul> <hr /> <div><strong>Working Environment</strong></div> <ul> <li>Hybrid working model, balancing office collaboration with home working</li> <li>Full‑time role with flexibility around working hours</li> <li>Supportive leadership team with a strong focus on development</li> <li>Genuine opportunity to shape the role and influence the wider tax function</li> </ul> <hr /> <div><strong>Why This Role?</strong></div> <div>This role offers the opportunity to join a growing firm at an exciting stage in its development, where senior tax professionals are given real responsibility, visibility and the chance to make a meaningful impact on both clients and the business.</div> <p>Please note our advertisements use PQE/salary levels purely as a guide.
