Senior Bookkeeper

The Role – Senior Bookkeeper (Practice), Surrey

As a Senior Bookkeeper working within a Surrey-based accountancy practice, you will support a varied portfolio of clients, working closely with senior team members.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing statutory accounts for a range of clients
• Producing monthly management accounts, including cash flow forecasting
• Carrying out bookkeeping where required and liaising with internal bookkeeping teams
• Supporting clients with day-to-day queries and accounting matters
• Working with a range of accounting software and cloud-based systems

About You

We are keen to speak with individuals who bring:

• Experience working within a UK firm of Chartered Accountants
• Strong bookkeeping and accounts preparation experience
• Up-to-date knowledge of UK GAAP
• Strong IT skills and confidence with accounting software
• A proactive and client-focused approach

Applicants may be qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience.

Salary and Benefits

• £38,000 – £48,000 depending on experience
