Senior Adults Social Worker

Adults Social Worker (Senior Level) - Backlog Project inside IR35 (S9/S10 Assessments)
Location: Buckinghamshire (Bucks)
Rate: £37 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract: 4 Months

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Adults Social Worker to support a targeted backlog clearance project within a local authority in Buckinghamshire. This is a focused, short-term assignment aimed at addressing a high volume of outstanding Section 9 and Section 10 assessments.

Key Responsibilities:
* Undertake and complete outstanding Care Act 2014 (Section 9 & 10) assessments in a timely and high-quality manner
* Manage a defined caseload independently, ensuring compliance with statutory duties and local policies
* Produce clear, analytical, and person-centred assessments and support plans
* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, service users, and carers
* Ensure accurate and up-to-date case recording
Requirements:
* Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration
* Extensive experience at Senior Social Worker level within Adult Social Care
* Strong working knowledge of the Care Act 2014, particularly S9 & S10 assessments
* Proven ability to manage high-volume caseloads and work autonomously
* Excellent assessment, analytical, and report-writing skills
* Must be a car driver with access to a vehicle
