Team Lead – 2nd Shift
Location: South Columbus / Grove City Area
Shift: 2:30 PM-10PM
Pay: (Based on Experience)

Nesco is currently seeking an experienced Team Lead for a growing vehicle company in the Grove City area. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving production goals, supporting team members, and ensuring daily operations run efficiently and safely.

Position Overview

The Team Lead will provide leadership, direction, and problem-solving support to assigned work cells. This role plays a key part in maintaining productivity, quality standards, and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and assist team members in completing daily production tasks

• Communicate assignments, expectations, and instructions clearly to work cell personnel

• Monitor workflow to ensure production goals are met

• Ensure proper handling and disposal of hazardous waste

• Maintain familiarity with all departmental processes and procedures

• Support continuous improvement and quality standards

• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of warehouse experience

• At least 2 years of computer experience (Excel & Microsoft Office required)

• 3 years of forklift experience preferred

• Strong ability to prioritize, work independently, and maintain professional working relationships

• Experience using measuring devices such as scales and gauges

• Basic PC skills with ability to access required systems

• Ability to qualify for the highest-ranking job classification within assigned department

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

• Familiar with safe operation of tools such as drills and screw guns

• General knowledge of OSHA and EPA standards

• May be required to obtain certifications (Forklift, Welding, Lean Bronze, etc.)

Physical Requirements

• Frequently walking; occasionally standing, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 lbs without assistance

• Ability to work in squatting, kneeling, or bending positions

• Ability to work with arms above head

• Ability to work from ladders or scaffolding

• Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 10 hours with scheduled breaks)

• Ability to safely operate hand, air, and power tools and protective safety equipment

• Close, peripheral, and depth vision required

• Ability to work in noisy and dusty environments

• Responsible for handling and disposing of hazardous waste safely
