East Riding of Yorkshire Council Looking for Senior Social Worker for their Look after children Team. Payrate: -£35.00 p/h Umbrella Location: - Bridlington Family Centre, YO16 7BS Roles and Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs, risks, and strengths. Develop and implement detailed care plans, ensuring they align with statutory requirements and best practices. Regularly review and update care plans to ensure positive outcomes for children and families. Prepare and present reports for court, including private and public care proceedings, in line with legal frameworks. Provide expert guidance and support in child protection cases, working closely with multi-disciplinary teams. Work directly with children looked after, ensuring their welfare and development needs are met. Attend and contribute to meetings and reviews with social workers, legal teams, and other professionals. Maintain accurate records of all case work, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to safeguarding protocols. Ensure compliance with local authority policies and national child protection guidelines. Travel to various locations for case work, meetings, and home visits, requiring access to a personal vehicle.
