Offer reference number: 23723 Welding / Locksmithing / Metalworking We offer: Dutch employment contract attractive salary of 17.00 EUR net / hour (after deducting accommodation and insurance costs) accommodation organized by the Employer, cost covered by the Employee social security contributions and taxes paid in the Netherlands by the employer health insurance for the employee paid vacation in accordance with Dutch law opportunity for professional development and long-term cooperation support from our Consultants in coordinating employment our services are free of charge (including translation and professional preparation of CVs in German for recruitment purposes) The main responsibilities of the employed person include: independent assembly of construction sections and machine structures (work for a client specializing in shipbuilding, heavy machinery, and offshore structures) independent reading of technical drawings (specialized, structural, sections, and machine drawings) and subsequent assembly based on them preparing and reading welding drawings and instructions, as well as monitoring the situation to gain insight into the shape, dimensions of joints, and desired quality checking the machined element to ensure that the preliminary processing complies with the drawing in terms of shape, dimensions, and cleanliness performing various structural connections verifying the presence of required parts and checking whether the prepared elements comply with the drawing preliminary processing and cutting of sheets and profiles to size fitting (by cutting, grinding, etc.) and assembling (by welding) the prepared material into finished elements taking precautions (e.g., welding reinforcements) to prevent distortion during welding aligning, precisely positioning, and fitting engine parts and structures (both in the workshop and on board the ship) assisting with preliminary equipment work Requirements: communicative / good knowledge of English (allowing for communication in the workplace) experience in the aforementioned position VCA certificate category B driving license knowledge of material machining allowances and welding markings on drawings (including familiarity with ISO 2553 and AWS welding symbols) The abbreviation “m / f / nb” is for informational purposes only and indicates that the job advertisement is addressed to all persons, regardless of their gender identity, including men, women, and non-binary individuals.
