Live-out Rota Housekeeper Job in Belgravia, South West London A valued returning client of Greycoat Lumleys is seeking an experienced Housekeeper to join their team in a beautiful, high-end residence in Belgravia. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a friendly yet highly private couple who employ a well-established household team, including three Housekeepers, four Security Officers, a Chef, two Drivers, a Handyman, and a House Manager, to whom you will report. The principals divide their time between several residences worldwide. They visit the London property periodically, ranging from a few days to up to a month at a time. As such, flexibility is essential, as you will be required to adapt your working hours to support the household when the principals are in residence. This may occasionally involve longer hours and a more fluid schedule. The successful candidate will also be required to travel within Europe once or twice per year for periods of up to two weeks. When the principals are away, your focus will be on maintaining the property to the highest standards. You will also be rotated between this residence and the home of a family member based near South Kensington. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role within a high-end private household. You will have exceptional attention to detail, take genuine pride in your work, and be confident working independently while also enjoying being part of a team. The family is looking for someone with a meticulous approach to housekeeping, who is calm, proactive, and highly organised. You will be able to follow established household routines, take direction well when required, and use your initiative appropriately. Excellent communication skills, discretion, flexibility, and a genuine desire to find a long-term position are essential. Duties to include: Daily cleaning and upkeep of the property to a consistently high standard Full laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management Maintaining an organised, tidy, and well-presented home at all times Packing and unpacking for travel as required Providing evening turn-down service Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the household Acting as the main point of contact for the principals and responding to their requests efficiently and discreetly Proactively identifying household needs and ensuring tasks are completed to a high standard House: High-end 7-storey residence, but you will only be responsible for the master bedroom, bathroom, dressing rooms, and the principal's personal areas across two floors Days & Hours: 5 days per week, including weekends, with consecutive days off and working every other weekend; contracted 48 hours per week, typically 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, with flexibility to work longer/different hours during visits Flexibility is required to adjust your schedule and work additional days during visits from the principal.
