We are looking for a Senior Test Engineer (Manual/Automation) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and oversight of Manual and automated test development. In addition, the candidate will assist in the design and implementation of Manual and automated test strategies and processes to ensure a high standard of reliable automation and quality of software products. Responsibilities Design and develop manual test cases and automated test scripts using Python based framework, open-source tools Work closely with software engineers to identify, thoroughly document, and resolve defects Cross functional collaboration with manual QA engineers, software developers, and Systems engineers to design and develop non-functional automation Maintain existing automated test codebases(s) and repositories Lead and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and compliance with best practices Assist in the ideation and introduction of new test methodologies, strategies, and processes Provide feedback to development teams to improve product quality and mitigate future issues Participation in product design, data analysis, and requirement review activities Required Leadership/Interpersonal Skills & Behaviors Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team Excellent time management skills Strong ability to multitask and prioritize tasks Mentorship of mid-level test automation engineers Education and Experience: • BS in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar field preferred. • 5+ years hands on experience in testing preferred. Skills and Competencies: • In depth knowledge of software testing methodology, test development, and test execution is required. • Strong software skills including C ,C++ Java, Python or TestNG. • Software test group experience. • Proficiency with source control, continuous integration and testing methods (i.e., Git, Perforce). • Familiarity with Continuous Build Systems such as Jenkins or Bamboo. • Familiarity with IEC 62304, ISO 14971, FDA regulations and international standards applicable to medical device software development, verification and validation a plus.
