About the Role
<p><strong>An Embedded Linux Developer with experience working across both embedded Linux and broader embedded work will provide technical solutions to a range of challenging projects as a key member of a thriving Technical Consultancy.</strong> Working closely with customers you’ll have the opportunity to work on Linux-based systems as well as bare-metal, RTOS, device drivers, algorithms and communications protocols.</p>
<p>Due to the nature of many projects you must be a British Passport holder. Hybrid working is offered (3 days office / 2 WFH), a generous salary and benefits to include a Company Bonus Scheme, Private Healthcare, 10& Company pension contribution, Life Assurance, 25 days holiday and much more.</p>
<p><strong>The Embedded Linux Developer should bring the following:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>A minimum of a 1<sup>st</sup>/2.1 Bachelors/Masters Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics or similar.</li>
<li>Embedded Linux development involving Yocto.</li>
<li>Real-Time Embedded C/C++ development.</li>
<li>Experience with high level programming language/s such as Python or C#.</li>
<li>Broader embedded experience such as RTOS, bare metal systems, Algorithms and communication protocols.</li>
<li>Adaptability, an ambition for learning and excellent problem solving skills.</li>
<li>Strong customer facing skills and motivation to work in a Consultancy environment.</li>
</ul>
<p>In this Embedded Linux Developer role you will contribute to the design, build and test of embedded systems across a wide range of applications including robotics, sensing, communications and IoT devices.</p>
