About the Role
Location: Medical Center Office Building (901 7th Ave) Department: Oncology Research Operations Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Standard Weekly Hours: 40 Summary: The Supervisor, Research Operations is responsible for supervision and guidance of the Research Nurse Coordinators (RNC) and Clinical Data Managers as assigned for implementation of high-quality clinical trials which support the mission, values and strategic plans of the Cook Children's Health Care System. The supervisor serves investigative teams by active participation in the role of RNC III. Education & Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required. Master's Degree preferred 5 years as a RN with at least 3 years in a research role with progressive responsibilities or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: An individual with proven leadership, interpersonal and communication skills Very strong ability to prioritize workload, delegate tasks to increase team efficiency, and effectively communicate Detail-oriented. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills required Certification/Licensure: Maintains licensure and certification as appropriate to clinical profession BLS required.
