Salary and Benefits Base salary of £60,000 Comprehensive benefits including pension contributions up to 5% Health insurance alongside pension scheme Additional perks include 33 days holiday (including bank holidays and birthday), recognition awards, and a flexible hybrid working policy About you Proven experience with Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, and Juniper firewalls (minimum 5 years) Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, VLANs, NAT, routing, and VPNs Excellent troubleshooting skills for complex network issues Customer-facing or managed service environment experience Relevant security certifications (e.g., PCNSE, NSE4, CCSA) are highly desirable Strong communication and documentation skills Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities What you'll do Design, implement, and support network security solutions for a variety of clients Manage and troubleshoot firewalls from Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, and Juniper Conduct firewall rule reviews and optimise security policies Support VPN technologies including IPsec and SSL VPN Assist in security incident response and troubleshooting Collaborate with clients to understand requirements and deliver tailored security solutions Produce detailed technical documentation and network diagrams Provide second and third-line support for security-related issues Work within a team to deliver consistent, high-quality security services
