Hiring Immediately – Staff Accountant
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join a growing accounting team in Louisville, KY. This onsite role is ideal for accounting professionals with experience in journal entries, account reconciliations, lease accounting, fixed assets, month-end close activities, and advanced Excel reporting.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor accounting and lease-related inboxes and respond to inquiries promptly.
- Prepare and post monthly journal entries related to lease billing and accounting activities.
- Support month-end close processes and financial reporting activities.
- Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Manage fixed asset accounting, tracking, and reporting.
- Analyze financial data and prepare reports using advanced Microsoft Excel functions.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external business partners to resolve accounting issues.
- Assist with accounting projects, audits, and process improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1+ years of accounting experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of general accounting principles.
- Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and data analysis.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work onsite in Louisville, KY.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with lease accounting.
- Experience with fixed asset accounting.
- ERP system experience.
- Corporate accounting or financial reporting experience.
