We are seeking a dedicated Youth Behaviour Mentor / Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and welcoming school community from September. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with pupils who require additional behavioural and emotional support, helping them engage positively with education and develop essential life skills.
For the right candidate, there is the opportunity for this role to progress into a longer-term or permanent position.
About the RoleAs a Youth Behaviour Mentor, you will play a key role in supporting pupils with SEMH needs both inside and outside the classroom. You will work alongside teachers, pastoral staff, and senior leaders to create a positive learning environment where every child feels valued, supported, and able to succeed.
No two days are the same, and while the role can be challenging at times, it is incredibly rewarding for those who are passionate about making a lasting impact on young people's lives.

Working with children with SEMH needs can present challenges, and successful candidates must be prepared to support pupils who may display behaviours that challenge. However, the school is committed to providing staff with the training, resources, and support needed to succeed in the role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
