Registered Nurse (Endoscopy/GI Lab)

An endoscopy nurse specializes in caring for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures, such as bronchoscopy, colonoscopy, and others. The typical responsibilities of an endoscopy nurse are: Complete pre-procedural assessments and preparation for endoscopy patients  Respond to any complications or adverse reactions during the endoscopy procedure Ensure the endoscopy suite remains sterile and that equipment is properly handled  Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to execute individualized patient care plans Educate patients on the procedure, as well as post-procedure care
