<span><span><span>A respected nonprofit human services organization in the Washington, DC area is seeking an <b>experienced Interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO)</b> to provide strategic and operational financial leadership during a transitional period.</span></span></span><br />

<span><span><span>This is a <b>hands-on interim CFO role</b>, overseeing the Controller and Staff Accountant, while serving as a strategic advisor to the CEO, Executive Team, Treasurer, and Board of Directors. The ideal candidate brings <b>prior nonprofit financial leadership experience within human services</b>, and is comfortable navigating complex funding, compliance, and regulatory environments. Experience with Medicaid billing is highly preferred.</span></span></span><br />
<span><span><span>While this role is intended as a temporary engagement, the organization anticipates launching a permanent search and <b>conversion to full-time employment may be possible</b> for the right candidate.</span></span></span><br />

<p><span><span><span><span>Oversee preparation and presentation of financial reports, forecasts, and analyses for leadership, Board, and external stakeholders</span></span></span></span></p>
