This is a high-impact Staff Data Engineer role where you will help shape and deliver modern, enterprise-scale data platforms. You will play a key part in defining architecture, driving best practices, and enabling AI-ready data systems that support real production use cases.

The Role

* Design and deliver scalable data platforms across pipelines, warehouses, and data lakes

* Build and optimise batch and real-time data pipelines

* Define and enforce data governance, quality, and compliance standards

* Support the design of data systems for AI and machine learning, including embeddings and feature pipelines

* Improve platform performance, scalability, and cost efficiency

* Implement monitoring, logging, and CI/CD processes for data systems

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end data solutions

* Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering standards and best practice

Your Skills and Experience

* Strong commercial experience building and scaling distributed data systems

* Expertise in Python, SQL, and either Scala or a similar language

* Deep knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and data warehousing

* Experience with data pipeline orchestration and processing

* Strong experience with streaming technologies such as Kafka, Kinesis, or Pub/Sub

* Solid understanding of data modelling, transformation, and governance frameworks

* Experience working with containerised environments and CI/CD pipelines

* Hands-on experience supporting AI and machine learning data workflows

* Strong communication skills and ability to work across technical and non-technical teams

The Role

This is a highly commercial Senior Analyst position focused on helping the business make smarter decisions through customer, product, and commercial insight. In this role you will work closely with stakeholders across Growth, Product, CRM, and Commercial teams to translate ambiguous business problems into clear analytical frameworks and actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities include:

* Analysing customer behaviour, retention, churn, segmentation, and lifecycle performance

* Supporting CRM and growth initiatives through insight and analytics

* Identifying trends, risks, and commercial opportunities through data

* Partnering closely with stakeholders to influence business strategy – this is a critical component of the opportunity
