CoreCivic is currently seeking a <strong>Director, Energy Management</strong>.  Come join a team that is dedicated to making an impact for the people and communities we serve.</font></span></p><p style="margin-top: 0in; margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3"><br><em>*This position requires 4 days (Mon-Thurs) onsite in Brentwood, TN.</em></font></span></p><p style="margin-top: 0in; margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3"><em> </em></font></span></p><p style="margin-top: 0in; margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3"><em> </em></font></span><span style="color: black; font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3">The Director, Energy Management provides primary leadership in managing utility related activities and for developing energy strategies that include energy efficiency projects and improvements in operational and maintenance practices across all facilities.</font></span></p> <ul><li style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><font size="3"><span class="style9a1" style="font-family: "Times New Roman";">Monitors energy consumption; </span><span style="color: black; font-family: "Times New Roman";">oversees the development of consumption reports to monitor facilities utility consumption.<span>  </span>Participates as an auditor in the corporate energy reduction program.</span></font></li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span class="style9a1" style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3">Makes recommendations for energy conservation and implements projects that will result in the reduction of energy use dealing with electricity, natural gas, propane, and water. Recommends or makes modifications to mechanical and electrical systems.</font></span></li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span class="style9a1" style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3">Reviews proposed maintenance and renovation projects for energy efficiency; provides recommendations for maintenance, renovations and new construction projects relative to energy use.</font></span></li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span class="style9a1" style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3">Oversees implementation of Energy Cost Saving Measures (ECM's) as proposed by Performance Contractors.</font></span></li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><font size="3"><span class="style9a1" style="font-family: "Times New Roman";">Provides forecasting of future utility use for multi-year budgeting.</span><span style="color: black; font-family: "Times New Roman";"> </span></font></li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="color: black; font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3">Partners with energy providers to secure favorable supply side agreements.<span>  </span>Resolves utility and energy service provider issues.</font></span></li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3"><span style="color: black; font-family: "Times New Roman";">Conducts facility condition assessments and energy audits. </span>Oversees ongoing review of facilities to identify cost reducing measures from implementation of energy efficiency initiatives.<span>  </span><span style="color: black;">Coordinates with field operations to resolve mechanical problems affecting energy efficiency and consumption.</span></font></span></li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="color: black; font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3">Implements and maintains utility tracking database systems.<span>  </span>Tracks and assesses CoreCivic's greenhouse gas emissions profile, as well as other sustainability metrics that relate to utilities consumption.</font></span></li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="color: black; font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3">Analyzes trends and identifies causes of energy overages and opportunities for savings.</font></span></li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="color: black; font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3">Provides technical and professional support regarding applicable energy consumption and reduction throughout the corporation and ensures regulatory and company compliance via established auditing processes and risk analysis.</font></span></li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="color: black; font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3">Leads energy assessment/monitoring activities including data gathering of current baseline status and ongoing monitoring programs.</font></span></li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3">Domestic U.S. travel may be required.</font></span></li></ul><p style="margin-top: 0in; margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: normal;"><b><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3">Qualifications:</font></span></b></p> <ul><li style="margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3">Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related field is required. <br></font></span></li><li><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3">Four years of experience in progressive energy engineering is required.<span>  </span>Additional years of related experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis. </font></span></li><li><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3">Extensive knowledge of commercial and industrial energy engineering, utility cost analysis, life-cycle cost analysis and facility management is required.<span>  </span></font></span></li><li><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3">Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and direct the activities of others towards the accomplishment of goals.<span>  </span></font></span></li><li><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3">Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications is required.<span> </span></font></span></li></ul><p style="margin-top: 0in;
